Due Date Detuning Cards – 250/Case
-
Product Description:
Due Date Detuning Cards are designed to deactivate any and all radio frequency security tags in library books, allowing patrons to exit through security systems without triggering alarms. These precision-cut cards are printed on both sides and are indistinguishable from standard card stock. Each card features a 3" x 5" grid style layout that readily accepts stamped dates without smudging, making them perfect for use in library applications. -
How It Works:
Library personnel place the Due Date Detuning Card in a book's library pocket when it is checked out. This deactivates the book's security tag, allowing the patron to leave without setting off the security pillars. When the book is returned and the card is removed, the security tag reactivates, ensuring that the book cannot be removed from the library without proper checkout. -
