The Ketec shoplifting prevention system is an advanced single panel transceiver operating at 4.6 MHz. Unlike standard RF systems, this system provides a wider aisle width and requires only one antenna for operation. It can detect hard security tags within 5 feet (152.4 cm) on either side of a single panel. When using two panels, you can protect an opening as wide as 20 feet (6.09 m). The major advantage of this system is the lack of synchronization needed between electronics, which simplifies installation and reduces after-sales service needs.

However, this system is not compatible with disposable paper labels due to its lower frequency.

This 4.6 MHz Ketec shoplifting prevention security system is a single panel transceiver. This system functions in nearly the same way as the standard RF systems, but at a wider aisle width and requires only one antenna to operate. This system can detect hard security tags within 3 feet on either side of a single panel and if two panels are used, an opening as wide as 12 feet can be protected. Another advantage of the single panel Ketec system is that the electronics do not have to be synchronized, which minimizes installation time and after sales service.

This unit can only be used with hard tags. This 4.6 MHz frequency system is ideal if you are in a location that has a lot of electrical interference.

The Ketec system can be self installed by purchasing a no holes in floor base plate. This base plate allows the pillar to be self standing.

4.6 MHz retail security systems are accurate systems that do a great job with detection. There are 2 basic styles of 4.6 MHz tag. The mini tag and the maxi tags. The mini tag works for smaller, light weight items such as shirts, light weight pants and skirts. The maxi tags works great for heavier items such as jackets, coats, jeans and formal attire.

This Ketec loss prevention system IS NOT compatible with any disposable labels because it is a lower frequency and they do not make paper labels for it.
