These tags have a hole to accommodate most types of lanyards such as reusable jewelry tag lanyards and disposable tach-it security strings (lanyards purchased separately).   The EAS reusable lanyard is removed at the cash register and used again and again. Whereas the disposable lanyard is cut off at the cash register during checkout.

The hang tag label is very useful when a pin and standard hard tag cannot be used.  For example, to secure leather, silk, or vinyl clothes or purses, you cannot puncture a hole or you damage the garment.

This hang tag label can also be used as a hidden or backup tag. Many times a very expensive garment is not only tagged with a standard hard tag, but also tagged with a hidden disposable label. Convenient places to put this label include the fifth pocket on a pair of jeans, inside a pocketbook, or underneath the liner of a shoe.

The hang tag label is also great for securing jewelry and watches. Especially if they are in a small display boxes.
