Carpet Security System 58 Khz (Sensormatic Frequency)

This hidden, carpet security system, covers a single-foot door or a 6-foot double door.  The 5 ft security system mat is placed flat on the floor inside the store centered in front of the doorway. A piece of generic carpet is placed over it to hide it. You may substitute your welcome carpet as long as it contains no metal. This carpet over the pad can be removed to clean when necessary. A controller box with an alarm light and beeper connects to the pad and extends to the side where it plugs into the wall socket.

Once a hard or soft tag (disposable label) 58 Khz is carried across the entrance, the system will continue to ring until it is removed. Hard tags can ring up to 5 feet above the carpet, while disposable labels will ring more in the 3 to 4-foot range above the hidden carpet system.

Great for fast, easy installations where you do not want to spend a lot of money. This system has a 2-year parts warranty and 5-year tech support by phone.

Any outlet can work if you have clean electrical but a dedicated line back to the breaker is recommended, and the use of a line filter which will protect the unit from power surges, lulls and noise in the line.
